Bread and Roses film

I loved the film, because it was about the Janitor’s struggle for their rights, I like the message and the historical connections that happen in the film. Also, I liked the idea behind their slogan and what it means.

I liked the principal characters, Maya because she did everything for her loved ones, and I liked Sam because he tried to help the janitors with his knowledge about the rights they deserve and how to organize against the oppression.

I really liked that the film shows a variety of realities that happened before in the United States, but that also happened in other countries, and that happened here; realities that still happen today in a lot of places. I didn’t like the love triangle between Maya, Sam and the guy that at the end go to the college (I’m bad at namesL).

My favorite scenes were when the characters fight between them about their ideals, when they manage finally to organize and win at the end. I liked too the scene when Rose tells the truth about how she had suffered in her life.
